Graphics card compatibility list

This is a non-exhaustive list of graphics cards we have worked with.

Rule of thumb 1 : CACANi works properly with graphics cards supporting OpenGL 3.0 and above. Anything below, you may find problems with the canvas display or during exporting.
Rule of thumb 2 : We do not recommend running CACANi with early generations of Intel integrated graphics cards (anything before Sandy Bridge, or the 2nd generation Core processors).

Graphics cards with known issues

1. Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD (found with Core 2 Solo/Duo/Quad/Extreme processors)
2. Intel HD Graphics (found with Core i3 / i5 / i7 1st generation processors)

Graphics cards that work, but may require updated drivers

1. Intel Graphics HD2000 / HD3000 (found with Core i3 / i5 / i7 2nd generation processors)
2. AMD Radeon HD 6630M / 7650M / 7450M

Graphics cards that work (supports OpenGL 3.0 & above)

1. Intel Graphics HD4000 and beyond
2. Nvidia discrete Geforce / Quadro graphics cards
3. ATI / AMD discrete Radeon / FirePro graphics cards
