Uninstall and transfer the licence for other computer?

If I have to format my computer. or want to move the license to my laptop.
What is the correct procedure?

Hello Max,

You have to "deactivate" CACANi under the "Help" menu. You will receive an email notification in which you will be required to confirm. When you install CACANi on the new machine it will prompt you to register again, place your original key and you are done.

What happens if you uninstall before deactivation? Is the license still valid?

Technically you would still be registered on that computer. If you were to re-install CACANI it should boot up again. Are you on a trial version or commercial?

I was referring to the trial, but I went ahead and ordered the commercial version. I'll just be careful to deactivate before uninstalling (I lost an Adobe license that way before I reformatted my hard drive).
