    CACANi (released 09/08/2019)

    IMPORTANT! CACANi 2.0 is a major version upgrade. An upgrade fee is required for existing CACANi 1.x users.
    IMPORTANT! CACANi 1.x files can be opened in CACANi 2.0. CACANi 2.0 files cannot be opened in CACANi 1.x.

    Existing 2.0 users, please download the free update from our Download page.
    Existing 1.x users, you will need to purchase an upgrade license first.

    New users can download the Trial version or purchase CACANi.

    New Features / Changes
    • (Hardware) Stylus support has been improved to support Microsoft Ink devices.
    • (Cel Bank)The vector drawing layer is now set above the raster drawing layer by default.
    • (Autosave)The autosave timing is now set to 4 minutes by default.

    Bug Fixes
    • In certain cases, CACANi would crash when generating inbetween frames.
    • On certain computers with Intel graphic cards and Windows 10 version 1903, CACANi would crash when loading files if the Navigator Panel is open.
    • Reduced unnecessary processes on the CACANi trial version when the user was not using the software.
    • The autosave filename did not update properly when a file is loaded by dragging the file from Windows Explorer.
    • After editing the autosave folder location, the new location was not saved after closing the program.
    • The color in painted regions would disappear after grouping of strokes.
    • The user could not undo the editing of bone paths.
    • In certain cases, the visibility of occluded strokes were not updated after they were edited.
    • In certain cases, the boundary settings panel was still visible after switching to a raster layer.
    • The camera frame size reverted to 1920x1080 resolution when new keyframes are created.
    • Certain shortcut key combinations were not working.
    • There were color errors when exporting GIF animations.
    • In certain cases, the user could not export a video in the .mp4 format.
    • The user could not transform images on the Image Layer across multiple frames if the cel did not start from frame 1.
    • The user could not delete strokes across multiple frames if the strokes were grouped and the cel did not start from frame 1.
